Join us as we enter the house of Ii’toi or the Tohono O’odham creation deity’s home: an extensive volcanic shield that holds within a vast array of over 400 volcanic craters and has been regarded as this tribe’s holy grounds. Walk along an experienced naturalist guide who will go over some of the majestic and spiritual explanations as to the earth’s formation and man’s purpose in it according to this ancient tribe. Meanwhile, discover and experience this unique ecosystem’s biodiversity and breathtaking landscapes that have been protagonists in the international denomination of Heritage Site by the UNESCO, and a federal Natural Protected Area with a Biosphere Reserve classification by the Mexican Government.
