Join us as we visit another one of Sonoran Desert’s natural beauties: the sand dunes of the El Pinacate y Gran Desierto de Altar Biosphere Reserve. Here, we will walk across a sand dune field that stretches out over an approximate 500,000-hectare basin near the Biosphere Reserve. We will also explore the unique and endemic plant and animal life that thrive in this ecosystem and discuss some of the adaptations they’ve gone through to survive this arid dryland. In the meantime, enjoy beautiful desert landscape scenery and indulge in nature photography to capture this site’s natural beauty.
