Marine Biologist from the Autonomous University of Baja California Sur, with a Master's Degree and a Doctorate in Marine Sciences with a specialty in marine resource management from the Interdisciplinary Center for Marine Sciences-IPN. I have 25 years of experience working in the marine area, both in biology and in fisheries, of which 12 years I focused on the study of elasmobranchs. I currently work at the Intercultural Center for Desert and Ocean Studies (CEDO), as Research Manager. In a complementary way, I have dedicated 15 years to teaching, 12 of which at the Autonomous University of Baja California Sur, and the other three at the National College of Professional Technical Education and Superior Normal School in La Paz. Among my strengths are perseverance, empathy, adaptability, availability to work, objectivity and reliability.
